Holly Miall returned to the GB4 Championship this weekend for the latest round of the season at Snetterton, taking on the challenging 2.97-mile Snetterton 300 circuit with KMR Sport. On what was again one of the hottest week’s of the year so far, conditions were hot and dry for one of the fastest tracks on the GB4 calendar.
Qualifying
Qualifying saw Holly set a best time of 1:50.663 to take P25 on the grid, putting her at the back of a competitive field.
Race One
Holly had a positive start to the weekend in Race One, moving forward from P25 to finish P22 after 11 laps of racing.
Race Two
Race Two provided a tougher afternoon, with Holly finishing P25 after completing all 11 laps. Her best lap of 1:51.813 came towards the end of the race.
Race Three
The final race of the weekend brought Holly’s strongest result. Starting P25, she made her way through the field to finish P19, gaining six positions during the shortened five-lap race. With some chaos at the front, she solidly held her own, keeping her cool and finishing the race as best as possible.
Holly’s said: “Snetterton was a busy weekend and it was good to get plenty of racing in. Qualifying left us with some work to do, but we made progress through the weekend and I was pleased to finish Race 3 in P19 after making up a few places. There are definitely things we can take away and work on, and I’m looking forward to the next round.”
Holly will now turn her attention to the next round of the GB4 Championship, with the focus on carrying the progress from Snetterton into the next race weekend.
