Brands Hatch hosted the penultimate round of the 2025 GB4 Championship season, where Holly showed steady pace and resilience. Despite the cancellation of Race 3, she came away with her strongest finish in Race 2, securing P16.

GB4 Championship – Round 6 at Brands Hatch

Qualifying

Late Saturday morning, Holly set her quickest lap of the session with a solid time of 1:27.741. One of her laps, along with those of five competitors, was deleted for exceeding track limits. Despite the setback, Holly secured a place on the grid in P20 for both Race 1 and Race 2.

Race 1

The race opened with early drama when Arden Motorsport’s Leon Wilson and Douglas Motorsport’s Dayton Coulthard collided, forcing both to retire. From there, Holly showed determined defensive driving, fending off relentless pressure from Flame Airkkala from start to finish. Late in the session, Douglas Motorsport’s Luke Hilton suffered a costly mistake that triggered a safety car, followed by a red flag that brought the race to an early close. Holly’s composure and consistency paid off, securing a finish in P18.

Race 2

The second race started just as eventfully, with early contact between Leandro Juncos and Hilton and a dramatic off for Jason Pribyl that ended his race. A slip from Lily-May Watkins allowed Holly to climb four positions into P16. However, Airkkala managed to execute a clean overtake, dropping Holly back to P17. In the closing stages, Luca Magnussen made an ambitious move that sent him off track, promoting Holly one more spot. After a chaotic race, she ultimately brought home P16.

Race 3

Holly’s race weekend was cut short due to a track incident in a preceding race. Race 3 of Round 6 has now been moved to the Donington Park finale on 4th-5th October, where Holly will start from P20.

Holly reflects on her weekend: “Overall, it was a tricky weekend at Brands Hatch, but there were still plenty of positives to take away. I was pleased with the consistency in my driving and the progress we showed between sessions. Race 2 was particularly encouraging, as I was able to capitalise on opportunities and hold my ground in some close battles. I’m feeling more confident heading into the final round and determined to finish the season on a strong note.”
