Saturday – Testing
On Saturday, the weather was good and testing went well with Holly showing some good pace throughout the first couple of sessions.
Heat 1
With mixed grids for the weekend, Holly was starting 8th, we had a good start and made up a couple of places into the first corner, up the straight to Christmas corner a shunt from behind and Holly was facing the wrong way on top of another kart. We got going again but were at the back, we had a few good laps battling but after a move up the inside, we had clout on the front and were out of the race with a bent steering column and track rod and an injury to Holly’s arm.
Sunday – Race day
Heat 3
Starting 24th Holly had a reasonable start but was struggling with her injured arm finishing 27th after a nose cone penalty.
Heat 4
Disqualified
Finals
After a dismal round of heats, Holly didn’t compete in the B final due to her injury. All in all another weekend where we learnt a lot. Holly has really been enjoying this season and has learnt from the result, now onwards and upwards to the HKRC Championship Rd6.
