It was a sunny and really enjoyable race weekend at Brands Hatch.
I was thrilled to meet so many motorsport fans and supporters across the two days.
It was very special to also welcome Jen, who won my recent online competition, and Ria Bose, the Chelsea football star. Fantastic to spend time with them both and I hope to see them back at the track soon. Looking forward to a chance to visiting Ria at Chelsea too.
I also had a new team mate to welcome to the Fox Motorsport Ginetta Junior’s family – Jack Robinson. He is racing for the rest of the season alongside myself, Mckenzie Douglass and Harry Moss. Like myself, Jack joins from the world of karting and this weekend was his first race behind the wheel of a car.
After some fast practice laps the previous day, I was a little disappointed to qualify off the back of the grid on Saturday. However, this made me even more determined to put in some good performances throughout the weekend’s racing. Across all the races I managed to hold some good racing lines and to keep the car on track, enjoying some tight racing. I finished a very consistent 15th in all three races.
Just one race weekend left this season with the next action scheduled for the 21st – 22nd October at Donington Park.
